Our Pastor
Our pastor is Dr. Billy S. Gardner Sr. Dr. Gardner is a native of Terrell, Texas and is grateful to be serving as a servant leader in his hometown.
He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Master of Arts in Theological Studies, Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree. His Studies included leadership, biblical languages, textual criticism and counseling. Dr. Gardner is the former President of a group called Pray Terrell, former member of the Terrell Ministers Union and current President of the Cross County Ministers Coalition. He received a community service reward from former Justice of Peace Mike Smith and Terrell Renaissance Club. Dr. Gardner has a long history of community service as he is a former Kaufman County Jail volunteer chaplain and owned a business where he worked with at risk youth and owned a faith based residential drug and alcohol center. He is also the author of the published book "Church Leadership Made Simple" with volume II in the process of being published now. In addition to those things he is a Mental Health Coach and Certified Faith Based Counseling.
Dr. Gardner is the former pastor of what use to be the Greater New Hope Church and is now the proud pastor of the awesome McIntyre Community Church since Nov. 1, 2020.
He is a proud father of seven kids of which two are deceased. He has a heart to see the lost saved and Christians grow in the Lord.

Deacon Gardner is a spiritual leader in our church and is committed to being a servant leader for the Lord. He works tirelessly at helping ensure that the church operates as it should and works closely with the pastor.
Dr. Billy S. Gardner
Dr. Gardner, has been inspiring our community since joining the congregation in 2020. He brings a wealth of experience and energy to the church and all of our activities. He is a passionate expository speaker and inspirational spiritual guide.
is responsible for encouraging and maintaining our church’s culture by being an active leader in our ever-growing community. As our new member coordinator, she play a crucial role in the spiritual life at McIntyre Community Church.
Ministries
Satisfying Saturday is when McIntyre Community Church cooks or Bar B Q and give away free food to the community.
Mile of Fellowship is when the McIntyre family get together and go for at least a mile walk.
WOW is when the McIntyre family get together for a good cardio workout.
